ICU Visiting Policy

Your family will be allowed to visit according to the ICU visiting policy. It is important that you get as much rest as possible after your surgery, so visits may be limited to short periods several times a day.

The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)

Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak: located on 2 East Tower. The waiting room is on the second floor across from the East Tower elevators. The waiting room phone number is 248-898-2861.

The Cardiac Care Unit (CCU)

Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak: located on the 6 East Tower.  The waiting room is on the sixth floor across from the East Tower elevators.

Beaumont Hospital, Troy:  located on the third floor (3D), the waiting room is across from the D elevators. Due to the large number of visitors, we recommend that only two (2) family members visit at one time. The waiting room phone number is 248-964-3292.

Nurse Updates:  An RN from the SICU or CCU will update your family on your status during surgery. The physician will update the family in the waiting room after the surgery has been completed.
